How Did I get here?

If someone would have told me a year ago I would become a blogger, I'd say "umm wth is a blogger" lol! I mean I knew what blogging was but I didn't really think it would interest me.  That was until I accidentally stumbled across Jessica Kane's blog. I never even knew there was this whole other world, of all these fabulous Plus size women.

I'm originally from NJ and my life there wasn't the greatest.  I grew up fast and had alot on my plate.  I never really had the chance to think about myself, or think about what I wanted or what my purpose was.  One day I just decided I needed to get out, get away from NJ. I convinced my cousin to move to North Carolina. I really do not know why I decided to come here, it was pretty random now that I think about it lol. But I'm here. I've only been here for about a year and a half and already my life has changed for the best.  I actually had the time to think about me, focus on me and figure out what I want to do with my life.  Currently I am a nurse.  I love nursing but I still felt like something was missing, like I wasn't complete.

I've always been interested in fashion.  Well not really high fashion but I tried my hardest to look the best I could with the small budget I had.  It was so hard, and most of the time exhausting, often I would give up.  I always had ideas, images of what I wanted to wear in my head but I didn't really have the time or motivation to make those ideas a reality.

So lets fast forward a year and half later... Here I am.  Ready to make it happen. Ready to become the person I feel has always been buried deep under stress, depression, and just lack of motivation. After browsing blog, by blog, for hours and hours, it gave me this burst of life! So now I am a "blogger"!!! ( Yay me lol). Blogging about my journey from being an average dresser to a creator! I'm so excited to join this community of Plus size bloggers and reach out to other women in the same situation.  To prove we can be just as fabulous ( if not more fabulous) than a size 0 supermodel and to be able to walk into any store and walk out with pieces that can be used to recreate a master piece! My creative juices (that I never even knew existed) are flowing!

I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog and follow this journey of mine. My only hope is to encourage other woman that may have been going through what I went through, and to learn from others how I can improve!! Thanks again for reading this :)

Stay beautiful and confident ladies!!!
